A highly talented artist and illustrator, George Charles Haité began designing wallpaper in the 1870s producing designs for various companies including Jeffrey & Co, William Woollams and Arthur Sanderson & Sons. As an Arts and Craft advocate, his designs showcase stylised nature, foliage and flowers. Fan shaped floral motifs and intricate flora creates a harmonious blend of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau in this strong and decorative wallpaper. Seen here in the Coral colourway.
